In the Summer months Sneek is the Frisian centre for water sport (you have probably heard of the ‘Sneekweek’). On Tuesday mornings there is, during the whole year, a nice market in the city centre. It is definitely worth visiting the maritime museum. Sneek has beautiful shopping streets, cosy terraces, nice restaurants and a good Tourist Office. |
